Ecuador Trip / January 2024

Join Creative Women of the World (CWOW) on a trip to Ecuador in January 2024. Come along as we visit with our friends at Casa Mi Suenos, meet and celebrate Unlocking Your Design graduates, visit indigenous markets, enjoy the cultural heritage of the country and local food, visit the equator, and more.

Experience the heart of CWOW’s mission of equipping women with entrepreneurial resources to to develop sustainable businesses through the power of their own creativity. See, in person, how your support of our mission is impacting the lives of women and develop international relationships that will last a lifetime.

Cost: $2800 per person

Unable to travel but would still like to support the trip? Consider a donation to the project. Any amount helps!

$1500 deposit and registration due November 22, 2023. Amount due in full by December 15, 2023. Deposits may be made online <here> or a check may be mailed to Creative Women of the World at 125 West Wayne Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802.

A full registration will be mailed or emailed to you upon payment of the deposit.

All expenses included: airfare from Fort Wayne, 3 meals a day, transportation, translation services, lodging, and more. 

No refunds or cancellations. Passports required. It is suggested travelers begin taking altitude sickness medication at least 2 days prior to travel.

January 19: Casa Mi Suenos UYD graduate business plan presentations & celebrate graduation (Quito)

January 20: Drive to SUMAK Center & artisan experience (Cayambe)

January 21: SUMAK Center UYD graduate business plan presentations & celebrate graduation (Cayambe)

January 22: Drive to Otavalo, visit indigenous markets, drive to Quito (Quito)

January 23: Quito cultural day, visit cultural sites and art museums (Quito)

January 24: Visit the equator (Quito)

January 25: Travel from Quito, Ecuador, to Fort Wayne
