Raffia Basket-Terra Cotta

This beautiful basket is handwoven from natural sisal and raffia in Burundi, and features a hang loop attached on back of basket to facilitate wall decor. Colors are a beautiful mix of black, cream, green, and terra cotta. 

This basket was designed by Bridge for Africa, a Fair Trade Nonprofit organization created in 2004 to help promote self-sufficiency and create dignity of work for artisans living in South Africa. Their products are all high quality hand crafted by artisans living in rural Africa.
