Hand carved Soapstone Hummingbird, Flying Ornament. 6" x 3.5" x 1.65 As shown Hand carved in Kenya, Africa by a group of artisans that is a self help group that also supports an orphanage and pays for education of school children. Fairly traded, sustainably collected. Carved from Soapstone - a soft rock. Dyes are natural and plant based. As each one is handcrafted by a group of artisans, minor variations in size, color and designs may occur. As soapstone can naturally have inclusions and colored areas against the background white/grey, on occasion with light dyes, these may be visible. This is inherent to the stone and not a defect.
