Open Call, Art Contest: Art-A-Licous

Calling all artists! Submit your proposal for Art-a-Licious 2026, Creative Women of the World's juried benefit art competition. Create a piece inspired by this year's theme, "Rooted. Rising. Shining." One artist will receive a $1,000 cash prize, and every participating artist has the opportunity to showcase and sell their work while supporting women entrepreneurs locally and globally. Open to artists ages 16+ in Northeast Indiana. Applications are due July 30.

Art-a-Licious is a juried benefit art competition presented by Creative Women of the World — Thursday, October 1, 2026 at JK O'Donnell's, Fort Wayne. 

Winner: The winning artist, as selected by the jury, will receive a $1,000 cash prize. The jury will evaluate submissions based on how effectively they interpret the theme, as well as the overall quality and execution of the artwork.

Theme: Rooted. Rising. Shining. Artists apply with samples of past work and a proposal for the piece they will create.

Entry deadline: July 30th, 2026. Acceptance Notification: August 3rd. 

Finished work due: September 28–29, 2026. Entry fee: $10. Open to artists 16+ residing in Northeast Indiana. 

Every artist decides how much of their sale supports CWOW's mission 100%, 75%, or 50%.
