Protecting communities and individuals who are at risk of violence because of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or disability can improve the lives of entire communities. Conscious Step partner the United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women is the only global grant-making mechanism dedicated to projects that focus on preventing violence, implementing laws, and improving access to vital services for women and other marginalized groups.

Conscious Steps does all of their cotton growing and sock manufacturing in the states of India. Manufacturing there allows them to support small cotton farmers. Their entire supply chain is GOTS, Vegan certified, and Fair trade certified. Each pair of socks goes to support a specific cause that is related to their design.
No child labor, minimum wage compliance, overtime compensation and freedom of association for workers. Because all humans deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Fair trade is a movement promoting a sustainable workplace with the goal of helping producers in developing countries achieve better working conditions.
