Day of the Dead
Dia De Los Muertos
This holiday, traditionally celebrated on November 1-2, is an opportunity for individuals honor their departed family members and loved ones that have passed. During this time, it is customary to create ofrendas, or alters that are decorated with bright yellow marigold flowers, photos of the departed, as well as favorite food, drinks, and keepsakes of those honored.
These offerings are believed to encourage visits from the land of the dead as the departed souls hear their prayers, smell their food, and join in the celebrations!
Likewise, we hope that you will celebrate this special time of year with us, by creating your own ofrenda, following our social media Dia De Los Muertos posts all month long, and paying tributes to our loved ones, both here and on the other side.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
